Chantae Clark - Paralegal

Chantae joined the medical negligence team at Ashtons Legal in Summer 2018. She began as a paralegal assisting Tom Cook with his catastrophic injury cases including cerebral palsy, spinal injury, traumatic amputation and neurovascular accident victims.

Chantae completed her law degree in May 2018 at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated with 1st Class honours. After graduating she gained experience as a personal injury and clinical negligence paralegal at a firm in Hertfordshire.

Chantae’s career goal is to become a qualified lawyer and is well on the way to achieving this. She is currently studying CILEx and hopes to qualify in Spring 2022.

Chantae currently assists Kate Smith, a solicitor within the team, with her medium value cases including orthopaedic claims, delays in diagnosis of cancer, surgical errors and suicide claims. Through working closely with Kate and part-time study, she has developed her legal knowledge and has started to build a caseload of her own.
