Ashtons Legal is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for individuals with disabilities, including elderly users who may face accessibility barriers. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Measures to support accessibility:

  • We strive to ensure our website www.ashtonslegal.co.uk is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
  • Our site aims to comply with level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) – addresses major accessibility barriers and is the standard required by most regulations.
  • We can provide accessible information about our legal services, including alternative formats, upon request.

Compliance:

  • We regularly review our website to ensure it meets the requirements of the European Accessibility Act 2025, including the technical requirements set out in EN 301 549.
  • Weekly automated scans of our website are conducted using www.accessibilitychecker.org to record all fixed issues and any new ones, providing proof of active accessibility remediation for legal compliance.
  • We are currently working towards enhancing accessibility by developing a new website, and some limitations may persist in the meantime.
