Sameena Manzar - Solicitor

Sameena joined Ashtons Legal in January 2017 and specialises in all aspects of Family Law, dealing with cases involving relationship breakdown, finances, children, domestic violence, nuptial agreements and cohabitation issues.

Sameena has expertise in cases involving international matters relating to divorce, dissolution of Civil Partnerships and financial matters. Sameena also deals with farming cases involving trusts, complex children matters, to include children with additional needs and cases involving contested injunction proceedings.

Before joining Ashtons, Sameena was called to the Bar at Middle Temple. Whilst studying for the Bar, Sameena volunteered at the Personal Support Unit at the Royal Courts of Justice and the Central Family Court, before working as an assistant to a Barrister based in Temple, London. Sameena was then offered a training contract with a regional firm, working at their London, Surrey and Essex offices, regularly assisting with complex financial matters of high net worth at the Central Family Court.

Sameena is a member of Resolution, Young Resolution and Middle Temple. She is the current chair of Bury St Edmunds Young Professionals. Sameena also sits on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
