Andie Hammond - Paralegal

Andie is a paralegal in our Agriculture and Estates team.

She supports the Agriculture and Estates team on transactions, tenancies, land ownership issues, and client care.

Andie achieved a BA(Hons) in English and Dance from Bath Spa University in 1997, a Diploma from the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs, and is currently studying for an Advanced Diploma in Civil Litigation.

Having had over 20 years working in various administrative and teaching roles in education, Andie joined Ashtons in 2018. She worked for five years as a Legal PA in the Agriculture & Estates department and is now a Junior Paralegal.

Andie is key to the Agriculture and Estates team, managing the systems for legal support in the team and preparing first drafts of documents for team members. She deals with clients’ enquiries, file management and some legal issues and drafts legal documents for sales, purchases and some tenancies. She specialises in Land Registry applications, submissions and requisitions.

Andie loves the variety of work within the Agriculture and Estates team and enjoys using her skills to help facilitate the smooth running of clients’ transactions, whether a small piece of garden land or a 100-acre estate.

Outside of work, Andie is kept busy running a family of six – she doesn’t have much spare time but is a Crafter and Upcycler, DIY, learning Mandarin, and enjoys theatre and ballet.
