Matt Davies - Associate

Matt is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team.

Matt specialises in advising clients on corporate transactions. He has advised on a broad range of corporate transactions for regional and national businesses across a variety of sectors.

Matt started his corporate career specialising in healthcare, guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions in that industry. In 2023, he transitioned to a larger regional firm to expand his expertise across various sectors, and the work included company restructurings and management buyouts, alongside developing his experience in corporate sales and acquisitions.

Matt provides clients with accessible and practical legal advice and works in partnership with them to achieve their objectives as efficiently as possible.

Matt enjoys the challenge of working alongside a variety of businesses, providing the advice they need to meet their needs while ensuring it is delivered in a straightforward manner and aligns with their commercial objectives.

Matt achieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of Reading, then undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law in Cambridge and qualified as a solicitor in April 2020.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending the summers on the cricket field, the winters on the football pitch, and participating in as many running events as his knees will allow. He is a member of a local cricket club and five-a-side team, but also enjoys spending time reading and cooking.
