Emily Hanigan - Solicitor

Emily is a Solicitor in our Lifetime Planning team.

She is experienced in Probate, Inheritance Tax, Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Emily qualified as a solicitor in May 2026, following the completion of her LLB Law and Criminology degree at the University of Sheffield and LPC LLM at the University of Law, as well as a two-year training contract in Manchester.

Emily spent over a year of her training contract working across the private client, residential conveyancing, and family departments simultaneously, deciding to qualify into Private Client after developing a strong technical and procedural foundation in this area.

Emily has a strong attention to detail and advises clients with discretion and empathy.

Emily loves that her job enables her to help and advise clients in order to make very personal and often difficult situations a little easier to understand and manage.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors with her Border Collie x Husky, Suki, and travelling to the Welsh coast to relax and hunt for fossils on the beaches.
