Nathalie Fearnley - Solicitor

Nathalie is a solicitor in the Family Law team based at our Bury St Edmunds office, working alongside Victoria Cole. Having completed a Master’s in Law, Nathalie qualified as a solicitor in 2023 and advises clients on a wide range of family law matters.

Her work includes financial issues arising from separation and divorce, arrangements for children, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

As a member of Resolution, Nathalie adopts a constructive and non-confrontational approach, helping clients find practical solutions and supporting them in reaching agreements wherever possible. She has a particular interest in collaborative family law, adopting the Resolution Code of Practice, and aims to minimise conflict while achieving positive outcomes for families. When matters cannot be resolved by agreement, Nathalie provides practical guidance and support throughout the court process.

Nathalie’s strong farming background gives her a valuable understanding of the unique challenges faced by farming families, particularly where assets are tied up in land, farms and agricultural businesses.

She is actively involved in the local rural and professional communities and is the honorary legal adviser to Suffolk Young Farmers. She also sits on the advisory committee of Bury St Edmunds Young Farmers and serves as a committee member of Bury St Edmunds Young Professionals.

In addition, Nathalie is a committee member of the Bury St Edmunds Family Contact Centre, which supports families during relationship breakdown by providing a safe and neutral environment for children to spend time with family members.

Outside work, Nathalie enjoys spending time outdoors, including riding her horse, walking her dog and running.
