Ina Beurich - Senior Associate
Ina is a Senior Associate in the Insolvency & Restructuring team.
She qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 and has over 10 years’ experience specialising in all aspects of insolvency law and practice.
Clients assisted by Ina include:
- individuals facing bankruptcy related issues (incl. annulments, bankruptcy restrictions, bankruptcy related entries at the Land Registry, having been served with a statutory demand and/or bankruptcy petition)
- bankrupts’ spouses facing bankruptcy related concerns (particularly in relation to interests in family homes)
- directors requiring advice in relation to a company facing insolvency
- companies defending insolvency proceedings including winding-up petitions
- directors facing legal action in the context of a company’s insolvency (including directors disqualification proceedings, defending claims made by insolvency practitioners
- stakeholders seeking the restoration of a company to the Register of Companies
- office holders (contentious and non-contentious)
- creditors pursuing debt recovery through insolvency proceedings.
Ina qualified as a solicitor in 2008, having previously completed a German law degree at the University of Trier, the equivalent of an English law degree (PGDL) at the University of East Anglia, as well as, also at the UEA, a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in International Commercial and Business Law.
Before embarking on her legal career, Ina spent a year in Paris where she attended language and cultural studies courses at the Sorbonne University and obtained a Certificate of Business French from the Paris Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie. Prior to training and qualifying as a solicitor at a leading regional law firm, Ina gained additional experience in the legal field, working as a tutor at the University of East Anglia’s Law School and subsequently as a legal assistant for a legal expenses insurer.
Ina is a member of R3, the Association for Business Recovery Professionals.
Ina understands that any types of litigation – and especially insolvency situations – are stressful for any type of client. She prides herself in not only expertly advising clients on the legal routes available to them but also guiding them through the practical solutions that most suit them/their objectives (be that commercially, financially or emotionally).
Ina is bilingual and can assist clients both in English and German.
In her spare time, Ina loves spending time with her family – preferably going on little adventures, but more often than not spending time at children’s sports events.
