Emily Dixon - Solicitor

Emily is a Solicitor in our Employment Law team.

Emily advises on a range of employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, sickness absence management, restructures and redundancies, senior employee exits, and restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations. She also has experience drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements.

Emily has particular expertise advising on TUPE transfers in the context of corporate transactions. In addition, she has experience managing Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Emily joined Ashtons Legal as a paralegal in October 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in the Employment team in March 2020.

Emily is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA).

Emily offers clear, pragmatic advice tailored to each client’s commercial and operational needs, helping them navigate employment issues with confidence and clarity.

Emily enjoys employment law because every day brings something different, and she particularly values building long-term relationships with clients while supporting them through a wide range of workplace issues.

Outside of work, Emily is a member of her local running club and has completed more than 50 parkruns around the UK.
