Samuel Rutterford - Apprentice Solicitor

Sam is an Apprentice Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team, working alongside Michael Frape in our Cambridge office.

He attended Lancaster University and qualified with an LLB in Law.

Sam joined Ashtons in March 2025 in the central filing team and started his training contract in September 2025.

Sam is particularly interested in ensuring the best outcome possible for his clients, ensuring a positive client experience and professionalism.

He loves to be challenged and achieve the best results possible.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys running, fitness and exploring the outdoors.
