Zara Bracegirdle - Senior Associate

Zara is a senior associate in our Lifetime Planning team.

She specialises in Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Planning, as well as Probate and Estate Administration, including the creation and administration of Trusts as well as dealing with foreign assets and families with business interests.

Zara qualified as a Solicitor in 2008, having achieved her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Reading Law School, Reading University, after which she completed her Legal Practice Course specialising in the area of private client work and then becoming a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Before working at Ashtons, Zara gained experience dealing with a wide range of private client matters and has acted for several generations of the same family. She has experience working on large estates, including farming and foreign elements.

Zara works not only to find solutions to her client’s concerns but to help her clients understand those solutions.

Zara has lived in Cambridge for many years and loves being able to cycle almost anywhere she needs to go.

Outside of work, Zara has previously volunteered at Cambridge Citizens Advice Bureau for a number of years. She loves visiting galleries, the Cambridge Open Art Studios, and even painting herself when she gets the chance. She also enjoys hiking with her family and travelling to new countries.
