Luke Evans - Trainee Solicitor
Luke is a Trainee Solicitor at Ashtons.
He joined the French Legal Services team at Ashtons as a Paralegal before moving to Commercial Property at the start of his training contract.
Luke graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2019 having studied LLB Law with European Legal Systems (with French Language) before completing his LPC and LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) at BPP in 2021.
When studying, Luke completed work experience and internships covering a vast array of practice areas, at a range of firms from high street to in-house. He also spent 10 months at a medium-sized South Yorkshire firm dealing with a broad range of Landlord and Tenant matters including debt recovery, property litigation (First-tier Tribunal) and corporate governance.
Luke is meticulous, zealous and straight-talking, and his approach to the law and legal services is inextricably rooted in clarity and common sense.
He enjoys legal practice at it is intricate, entertaining and challenging, all of which – and much more besides – make it an immensely rewarding line of work.
Outside of work, Luke has been hooked on guitars since he was nine and is an avid sportsman with a keen interest in ice hockey, football and tennis. Foreign languages also fascinate him and, having ticked French off his list, Luke endeavours to become a fully-fledged polyglot.
