Luke Evans - Solicitor
Luke is a Solicitor working in our French Legal Services team in Leeds.
He previously worked in the French Legal Services team at Ashtons as a Paralegal. Following a temporary departure to complete his training contract with our Commercial Property, Lifetime Planning, and Disputes teams, he has now re-joined FLS as a Solicitor.
Luke graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2019, having studied LLB Law with European Legal Systems (with French Language) before completing his LPC and LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) at BPP in 2021.
Throughout his studies, Luke completed internships and work experience covering an array of practice areas at a range of firms, from high street to in-house. He also spent 10 months at a medium-sized South Yorkshire firm dealing with a broad range of Landlord and Tenant matters, including debt recovery, property litigation (First-tier Tribunal), and corporate governance.
Luke is meticulous, zealous, and straight-talking, with an approach to the law that is rooted in clarity and common sense.
He enjoys legal practice as it is intricate, entertaining, and challenging, all of which – and much more besides – make it an immensely rewarding line of work.
Outside of work, Luke has played guitar since he was nine and is an avid sportsman with a keen interest in ice hockey, football, and tennis. As to foreign languages, having ticked French off his list, Luke endeavours to one day become a fully-fledged polyglot.
