Ashtons Legal advise shareholders of Masterglass Windscreens Ltd on their sale to Cary UK Ltd

Ashtons Legal has advised the shareholders of Masterglass Windscreens Ltd (trading as Autoglazing (“Masterglass”)), the 24-hour windscreen repair and replacement service, on the sale of their shares to Cary UK Ltd, part of Sweden-based Cary Group.

Geoff Hazlewood, a partner and head of the Corporate and Commercial team at Ashtons, led the transaction and was assisted by Mohammed Haleem, James Brighton and Whitney Crow. Fellow partner Charlotte Vallins led on the commercial property aspects, and Emily Dixon advised on the employment aspects.

Andy Hodge, director and majority shareholder of Masterglass, said: “We felt the time was right to sell the company, and we felt that entrusting it to Cary Group was the right decision for the business and both our employees and customers. We wish Cary Group every success in the future.”
