At Ashtons Legal, we know that the way we operate can have a significant impact on the environment.
Every choice made within the firm – from the sort of paper, printers, lighting, and heating used contributes to the firm’s carbon footprint, and they have a cost to the environment.
As a responsible employer, we are committed to reducing the firm’s impact on the environment and striving towards a more sustainable future.
We continually set and review targets in a number of areas to reduce our environmental impact. This includes:
- paper and printing
- transport usage
- energy and water
- lighting
- recycling.
The CSR committee is responsible for the firm’s environmental policy. But we also believe that the firm’s environmental performance will be achieved by all of us working together.
Since January 2020, we have been continually encouraging our employees to use the search engine Ecosia who use their ad revenues to plant trees where they are needed most.
