Spotlight On… Mohammed Haleem
Our next spotlight is on Mohammed Haleem, a Solicitor in our Corporate and Commercial team.
What is your role at Ashtons?
I am a Corporate Solicitor, based in the Cambridge office.
How long have you been at the firm?
Two years.
Where have you worked previously/what path did you take before Ashtons?
I obtained my law degree at Nottingham Trent and then also studied my LPC at Nottingham Law School. I worked at Buckles Solicitors as a Paralegal for a number of years and then obtained my Training Contract there and qualified.
Who is in your team?
The Corporate and Commercial team comprises Nick Palmer, Geoff Hazlewood, David Sloman, Mark Watson, Craig Fiddaman, Damian Humphrey, Tracy Williamson, Jasmine Allen, Richard Bailey, Whitney Crow and James Brighton.
Do you have any specialisms?
Mergers and acquisitions are my specialism.
Did you ever consider a different career?
No.
How has Ashtons supported your route or development within the firm?
I found them very supportive, especially given that I was very junior in my role when I started. They take their time to explain complex matters, and the whole team is always at hand to answer any question I have.
