Ashtons advise Cambridge Past, Present & Future on the management of Grantchester Meadows
Charlotte Vallins, a partner in Ashtons Legal’s Commercial Property team, recently advised conservation charity, Cambridge Past, Present & Future, in relation to an agreement completed with King’s College for the management of Grantchester Meadows.
Grantchester Meadows is a 50-acre open space to the south of Cambridge and lies next to the River Cam.
James Littlewood, CEO of Cambridge Past, Present & Future, said: “We are delighted to have taken on the management of Grantchester Meadows, supported by the owners, King’s College. We are looking forward to working with local communities to maintain and enhance this important and well-loved place. Ashtons helped us to negotiate our way through the intricacies of the agreement and ensure that both parties are happy with the outcome.”
