£275,000 obtained for family of a man who died in motorcycle accident

Siobhan Thacker has obtained a £275,000 settlement for the family of a man who died on impact when he collided with a car.

Mr H was riding his motorcycle to work when a car performed a U-turn in his path. He braked heavily but was unable to stop and drove into a parked car, whilst his body collided with the car performing the U-turn. Mr H died on impact.

Siobhan comments: “This is a tragic case where an individual performed U-turn where it was not safe to do so and did not account for other users of the road. Whilst no sum of money can bring Mr H back, the £275,000 compensation will help Mrs H look after her two children as well as the biological child she shared with Mr H.”
