£215,000 for driver injured in head-on collision

A personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal has obtained a settlement of £215,000 for Mr T after a head-on collision.

Mr T, a tipper truck driver, was seriously injured when his truck was hit head-on by another vehicle. Mr T suffered fractures to all four limbs and extensive skin damage which has left him with permanent scarring.  Although in his 60s, Mr T had several years of his working life left but has only been able to return to employment in a very limited capacity.

Ashtons comment: “This settlement cannot take away the pain that Mr T has suffered, nor remove his physical scars.  It will, however, help to bridge the gap between the things he would have been able to do and afford if the collision had not happened, and his position now.”
