£5,000 for back injury sustained in snow

Tim Gleave, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained £5,000 for Mr S from Bury St. Edmunds. Mr S was a labourer who, whilst working on a pavement for a utility company, slipped in deep snow and sustained a back injury. The claim hinged on the fact that Mr S should have not been asked to attempt to carry out the work in such adverse weather conditions.
