Compensation for treatment overdose

Clinical negligence lawyer Sharon Allison has succeeded in obtaining compensation for Mrs M following a hospital error in which she was given 50% more radioactive iodine than had been agreed. The treatment was being given in relation to an overactive thyroid function; as a result of the overdose she now has an underactive thyroid function which needs to be controlled by medication on a long-term basis.
