Champagne tasting event raises funds for Macmillan

Ashtons Legal held a Christmas champagne tasting event last night at its Guildhall Street office in Bury St Edmunds.
Over 50 guests attended and were given a short presentation on champagne by Thomas Peatling Wine Merchants of Bury. Guests then took part in a champagne tasting competition, although only one guessed all four champagnes in the right order!
The event raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support, one of three charities which Ashtons Legal is supporting this year. A raffle was also held, which was won by Bury architect, Bill Chew. Bill is pictured above being presented with the raffle prize of a magnum of champagne by Alan Brown, Deputy CEO and partner at Ashtons Legal.
