Action For Brain Injury Week: 19-25 May 2025

Action For Brain Injury Week promotes support for those with a brain injury and those supporting them.

Headway, the brain injury association, are running their annual awareness campaign to highlight the challenges facing those with brain injury and their supporting families and friends.

Over the previous years, each week has been themed to raise awareness of the difficulties that people with brain injury face, such as the hidden effects of brain injury, the impact of brain injury on who a person is and, in 2023, highlighting the statistic that someone is admitted in hospital with an acquired brain injury every 90 seconds.

This year, the theme is “On a good day” to cover the unpredictability of brain injury on daily capability by contrasting a good day and a bad day.
