What is your role at Ashtons?

Associate in the Lifetime Planning Team.

How long have you been at the firm?

Nearly 9 years!

Where have you worked previously?

I was a waitress for many years at posh hotels and then moved into property lettings. I specialised in evicting tenants which sparked my love of law!

Who is in your team?

Louise Cardwell, Partner, Janette Wand, Partner, Stephanie Lems, Solicitors, Aidan Rengert, Apprentice Solicitor, Daniel Thorn, Paralegal, Luke Hadley, Paralegal and Ruby Ling, Legal Assistant.

Do you have any specialisms?

I deal mainly with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Inheritance Tax advice and Trust work.

Did you ever consider a different career?

I would have liked to go into policing, maybe a Detective … otherwise a Marine Biologist!

If you could give your younger self some career advice, what would it be?

Buy stock in Apple … but also Speak up. Your voice will open more doors than you can imagine.
