Rebecca Gatens becomes Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association

Congratulations to Rebecca Gatens from Ashtons’ Agriculture & Estates team for gaining the Fellowship of the Agricultural Law Association award.

Those who attend the advanced training course and pass a written examination are awarded a badge of excellence by which they may distinguish themselves.

Rebecca is an Associate in the Agriculture & Estates team and advises on a range of agricultural matters including:

  • Agricultural land sales and purchases
  • Tenancies and Leases
  • Property transactions involving commercial and residential elements
  • Overage
  • Chancel liabilities
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Development land including Promotion Agreement sand Options
  • Mortgages and refinancing
  • Property invested in pension schemes such as SIPPs and SSASs.
As well as now being a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association, Rebecca is a member of the Suffolk Agricultural Association and the Treasurer of the Suffolk branch of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust. She is also on the Special Events Committee for St Nicholas Hospice.
