Ashtons Legal advise on Broads Ventures Limited acquisition of Norfolk Broads Direct Holdings Limited

Ashtons Legal has successfully advised Broads Ventures Limited on the acquisition of Norfolk Broads Direct Holdings Limited, the parent company of Norfolk Broads Direct and Broads Tours, in a multimillion-pound transaction.

Greg Munford spearheaded the acquisition, partnering with Paul Richardson through their newly-formed Broads Ventures Limited. Both bring extensive expertise from the Norfolk Broads and broader UK leisure marine sectors.

The Ashtons multidisciplinary team was led by Mark Watson. He was supported by Jasmine Allen, Geoff Hazlewood, Whitney Crow and James Brighton (Corporate & Commercial), Jessica Piper (Employment), and Greg McCurday, Ismail Bell and Richelle Moreton-Clark (Commercial Property).

Norfolk Broads Direct is a leading operator within the Broads National Park, managing a fleet of over 100 boats from dayboats to holiday cruisers, in addition to a portfolio of waterside holiday properties. The company employs approximately 50 staff and facilitates visits from over 115,000 guests annually, supporting access to and enjoyment of the Broads National Park.
