Ashtons confirms continued sponsorship of winning Wymondham Ladies side

Ashtons Legal is delighted to have renewed its sponsorship of Wymondham Ladies football team for the third year running.

The firm first became involved with the team through providing individual player sponsorship for Leah Newcombe, who works in the firm’s Dispute Resolution department, and then extended its support to the wider team.

Wymondham Ladies has gone from strength to strength, being County Cup Champions in 2017/18 and 2018/19. They reached the County Cup final again this year before COVID-19 stopped play.

Leah comments: “It’s fantastic to have Ashtons’ support. Our aim this year is to retain the County Cup, win the League Cup and to gain promotion to the National League”.

Dave Richardson, a member of the Ashtons’ Business Development team, adds: “Ashtons has a track record of supporting grassroots sport in many forms across the region. We firmly believe in supporting those in our local communities who are working hard to enhance their skills and be successful whether it is ladies football, boys’ rugby or wheelchair basketball. We look forward to following the progress of Wymondham Ladies in the coming year, just as soon as matches are able to resume.”
