Ashtons appoint new partner to growing corporate team

We are thrilled to announce that David Sloman has been promoted to a partner at Ashtons Legal.

David joins five other partners in the very successful and fast-growing corporate and commercial team at Ashtons. With a proven track record in advising on corporate transactions, particularly in the technology and high-growth sectors, and complex commercial matters, David is highly regarded for his strategic insight and dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes for his clients.

David has notable expertise in advising innovative, high-growth businesses, helping them to get going and scale up through creating the right business structure, exploiting their technology, taking on investment, growing organically, and eventually exiting. His ability to understand the unique needs of these businesses and provide tailored, practical solutions has made him a trusted advisor in the field and well-known in the local business community.

David’s appointment is alongside one other new partner, three senior associates and a further three new associates from within the firm. Chief People Officer Claire Hughes is the other new partner, with Sophie Hearle, Alexandra Lush and Felicity Sparkes being appointed as senior associates, and the new associates are Bethany Kyle, Tamara Penton and Harriet Richardson. All these staff members work across a wide range of roles, teams, and offices at Ashtons Legal.
