Melissa Duncan - Solicitor

Melissa is a Solicitor in our Private Wealth Disputes team.

Melissa gained experience in Will validity claims, Inheritance Act claims, executor disputes, TOLATA claims and other matters during her time as a Trainee Solicitor.

Melissa qualified as a Solicitor in November 2024.

Melissa’s experience to date has involved both Contentious Probate and Family Law, which has strengthened her empathy and given her a strong foundation to navigate family disputes. She enjoys the personal aspect of Contentious Probate cases and working alongside clients, offering support through what is often a very difficult time for them.

Melissa finds Private Wealth Disputes rewarding as the cases are often challenging both intellectually and emotionally. It is also an incredibly varied practice area, meaning every day is different.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys painting, reading, and travelling.
