A woman who sued Bon Jovi for personal injury compensation after being run over by one of the band’s employees in a golf buggy has secured £33,000 in compensation.

Sally Allen, now 30, had been working as a security supervisor at the Milton Keynes National Bowl arena when the accident occurred in June 2006.

She had been trying to escort a VIP away when a fire broke out and claimed that Kevin McDonnell became aggressive towards her before deliberately driving over her leg in the vehicle.

The victim had her leg broken and her foot crushed and she claims she has been unable to return to work since due to her disabilities as well as bouts of depression.

After launching legal action against all four members of the band – Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Richie Sambora and Tico Torres – as well as their companies, Ms Allen has now agreed to a settlement of £33,000.

The band declined to comment except to say that Mr McDonnell no longer works for them.

Last year, Rod Stewart fan Sally Price accepted £12,800 in compensation after she was hit in the face by an autographed ball he had kicked into the crowd at a concert in Dublin.

She sustained whiplash and sued the event’s organisers for negligence.
