Multi-million pound settlement for pedestrian hit by motorbike

A man who suffered life-changing injuries when he was hit by a motorbike has been awarded a multi-million pound compensation payout.

Brian Agard, 44, had been crossing a road in Oldham in 2003 when motorcyclist Lee Marcus Horrocks hit him.

The victim’s left leg was shattered so badly that he had to have it amputated and he also sustained brain damage, as well as being rendered blind.

Mr Agard is now reliant on his wife Maxine and lives in a specially-adapted home.
