Ashtons Legal sponsors Rugby 7s tournament

Ashtons Legal was proud to sponsor the Green King IPA Rugby 7s tournament at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club which took place on Sunday 5 May.The tournament, now in its fifth year, saw premiership clubs Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints, Worcester Warriers and Saracens take on national sides Latvia and Nigeria, plus ten top international 7s teams.Attended by a record-breaking 3,000 spectators, the tournament was won by premiership club Saracens. Rounding off a successful year for the hosts, Bury Rugby Club won the open competition. The winners trophy was presented by special guest, England and Northampton Saints flanker Courtney Lawes, who also spent time meeting the spectators.James Griffiths, a partner at Ashtons Legal, said: “We have been proud supporters of Bury Rugby Club for many years. We were pleased to be able to sponsor this event for the fifth year running, which brought together so many rugby fans and players from across the UK and beyond.”Michael Robinson, Chairman of Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, commented: “The help and support of our sponsors is very much appreciated by the whole club.
