Introducing the Diversity & Inclusion Committee
At Ashtons Legal, we value the people that comprise and promote our business.
We endeavour to be at the forefront of the legal profession by not only the work that we do but also the way we promote and encourage our people.
We are proud to say that we have been awarded Investors in People Gold for four years and we are keen to maintain this going forward.
We are a firm that values the contributions made by all of our employees, an example of this was Natasha Adams (Trainee Solicitor) and Taaher Robbani (Personal Injury Executive) putting a proposal to the firm’s internal operations team to establish a committee whose goal would be to promote and celebrate diversity and inclusion in our community. The idea was welcomed as the committee’s objectives tie in with the firm’s existing strategy which sees us continually improve all that we do for the benefit of our clients and staff.
The new Diversity and Inclusion Committee is in the midst of establishing a plan for 2020 which will include social mobility projects, hosting a mooting competition with local schools and introducing ‘Speed Mentoring’ at the firm.
