Ashtons present at Want to Know conference

Ashtons Partner Jeanette Dennis presented to delegates at the Want to Know Conference for Rural Surveyors at St Ives recently.

The event was attended by 100 rural surveyors from across the region.

Ashtons presentation focused on culpability of both individuals and Companies charged with regulatory offences with an element of a duty of care. This focused on health and safety offences, gross negligence manslaughter, corporate manslaughter and confiscation for regulatory offences.

Jeanette Dennis provided a legal update and reminded delegates to review the public rights of way on estates and farms before the Deregulation Act 2015 comes in to effect.
