Organic growth and focus on new additions sees firm make 24th acquisition in eight years

Companies looking to make mergers and acquisitions soon may wish to take inspiration from one firm, which has made its 24th acquisition in only eight years.
Launched in 2003, TSG is based in Newcastle and provides IT services to small and medium-sized enterprises, North East Business reports.
It recently took over customer relationship management company Concentrix, boosting its staff numbers to 500 at 14 sites around the UK.
Chief executive David Stonehouse said the business is “always tending to focus on searching out new customers”, as well as considering organic growth.
“Because we have bought 24 businesses, they come with customers and we have focused on looking after them,” he added.
Earlier in 2011, KPMG said it thinks more firms will be taking part in more strategic mergers and acquisitions this year than they have been doing during the global economic downturn.
Anyone thinking of growing their business may wish to make an appointment to speak with the specialist advisors at Ashtons Legal, who can help at every stage of the process.
