An Introduction to our Client Support and Rehabilitation Service

  • Posted

At Ashtons Legal, we are here to support our clients whether they have come to us as a result of injury, exposure-related illness, medical negligence, or through the death of a close family member that was someone else’s fault.

If someone’s injury means they no longer have mental capacity, we are here for them, too.

While our experienced legal professionals manage any claim for compensation, or we take on an appointment by the Court of Protection as the professional deputy, our Client Support and Rehabilitation Service provides a complementary assessment regarding therapeutic input and/or ongoing welfare needs.

This can include supporting clients to:

  • access medical and therapeutic treatment for their condition
  • ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home (including aids and adaptations)
  • apply for disability and/or welfare benefits
  • access funding to pay for care in their home
  • seek education funding for children and young people.

Not all clients will require all of the above, but we aim to do our best to ensure that they receive what they need and are entitled to.
