Luis will be running an afternoon deep dive into the subject of direct employment v agency care. The first session will focus on building and retaining directly employed care teams after brain injury. Bringing together professionals involved in setting up and running directly employed care teams for clients with a brain injury. The speakers will navigate common challenges ranging from family trust to disputed invoices. \nThe second slot will look at which works better. Drawing on qualitative and quantitative research to unpack both models in a brain injury context\, weighing up the pros and cons of each. The aim is to cut through the ambiguity so clients\, families and the professionals supporting them can make a properly informed choice on how care is delivered in the home. \nWho should attend? \nOur day is aimed at Brain Injury Case Managers and other practitioners in the field\, inclusive of therapists\, support workers\, social workers and those with an interest in the Court of Protection.
