Tom Hayden - Trainee Legal Executive

Tom joined the firm in 2018 and is now a Trainee Legal Executive in the Dispute Resolution team.

Tom has completed his Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law, with the aspiration of becoming a qualified Chartered Legal Executive.

As well as running some of his own cases (primarily Landlord and Tenant cases), Tom works closely with a number of lawyers in the Dispute Resolution team, assisting with a broad range of contentious issues, including:

• property litigation: boundary and right of way disputes; TOLATA claims and co-ownership disputes.
• contentious probate claims: claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and challenging the validity of a Will.
• general litigation matters: professional negligence, breach of contract and misrepresentation claims.

Outside of work, Tom is treasurer of the Bury St Edmunds Rotaract Club, which raises money for their nominated charities by organising fundraising events and volunteering.
