Mick Upton - Senior Associate

Mick is experienced in dealing with a wide range of serious injury claims including fatal accidents, brain injuries, spinal injuries and serious orthopaedic injuries.

He started his career with Ashtons, qualifying in 2004, and has come back after a spell at a national firm.

Mick a member of APIL and was ranked as a “next generation lawyer” in Legal 500 2018.

Mick has a wealth of experience in handling complex claims. He has built a reputation for investigating and relentlessly pursuing cases where liability (blame) is difficult and bringing them to a successful conclusion. He has meticulous attention to detail and fights for his clients to ensure that they get the treatment and support they need during their claim and, ultimately, the right level of compensation at the conclusion of their claim.

Mick enjoys dealing with a whole range of people in his day-to-day work and playing a part in helping make the lives of those who have been affected by injury more manageable.

Outside of work, Mick enjoy various sport and spending time with his family. He supports Norwich City FC and he is a former member of the England Karate Team.
