Jo is an experienced property solicitor qualifying over 12 years ago, and since then she has concentrated on working with property owners, farmers, landowners and tenants, and developers.
Jo now deals primarily with the development of agricultural land, including site acquisition and assembly as well as secured lending and borrowing.
As development projects are often on rural land Jo’s extensive experience in all aspects of rural property including dealing with agricultural tenancies (and advising on gaining vacant possession of otherwise secured tenancy land), means she understands the nuances of the issues affecting rural land acquisition, development and diversification. Jo also has significant experience of the renewables sector, where she has acted for rural landowners and renewable energy providers on matters ranging from solar and wind farms to large scale new renewable power plants.
