Jessica Hitchcock - Trainee Legal Executive

Jessica is a Trainee Legal Executive in our Commercial Litigation team, led by Michael Frape.

Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Laws LLB Degree from the Open University in 2019. Having previously worked as a student nurse at Addenbrookes Hospital and armed with the same goal of helping others in mind, Jessica diverted her career to law. She began studying part-time for a degree with the Open University whilst working full time as a Legal Assistant, firstly in Family Law from 2016 and then joining Ashtons in Commercial Litigation in 2018.

Jessica regularly keeps up with international human rights cases and is an active member of Amnesty International. She prides herself in providing a first-class client service each time by listening carefully to instructions and communicating effectively.

Jessica enjoys her role as a Trainee Legal Executive because of the opportunity to learn and progress within the firm.

Jessica has been shortlisted for the national accident helpline Future Legal Mind 2020 Award.

Having previously lived in Australia, Jessica is an outdoorsy and active individual who enjoys surfing, yoga, and travelling. She has also had experience as a charitable fundraiser, single-handedly raising over $40,000 AUD for the Australian based charity, The Smith Family.
