Ashtons’ Solicitor Appointed President of Cambridge Junior Lawyers Division
Natasha Adams, Solicitor at Ashtons Legal has recently been appointed President of the Cambridge Junior Lawyers Division. She took up the role on 1 January 2021.
Natasha qualified as a Solicitor in 2020 having completed her training contract with Ashtons. She works in the Disputes team and is located in the firm’s Cambridge office on Newmarket Road.
The Cambridge Junior Lawyers Division (CJLD) is a social and professional collective of young lawyers across Cambridgeshire. It is open to all Trainees, Paralegals, Legal Executives, Legal Apprentices, Students and Newly Qualified Solicitors.
The CJLD offers a wide variety of different events for young lawyers, including their flagship Autumn Ball. Members are also provided with opportunities to network with other local lawyers, develop their professional skills and to discover new work opportunities in the Cambridgeshire area. The group are represented nationally in the Law Society’s Junior Lawyers Division and have ties with local businesses, universities and charities.
Natasha was approached about the role and upon gladly accepting said: “I am honoured to have been asked to take on the role of President of CJLD. This new and exciting role will enable me to expand Ashtons’ network within the Cambridge legal market and I look forward to hosting a few in-person events in the latter part of 2021.”
