In this video, Ashtons Legal commercial property law expert, Charlotte Vallins, explores the alternatives to traditional rent payment formats in commercial leases, these being particularly worthy of consideration during the current COVID-19 climate. If the parties to a lease are willing to be flexible then, as Charlotte explains, there are alternatives that will benefit both sides and enable a tenant to continue trading, and a landlord to continue to receive rent and keep its premises occupied.
