After a hugely successful first year, Ashtons has this month relaunched its Wills Year initiative where a donation for each Will completed in an entire year will be donated to local charities.

Ashtons Lifetime Planning team took instructions for 1,033 new Wills which were completed, invoiced and paid within the year. For each new Will, Ashtons make a £10 donation so a total of £10,330 will be given equally between eight charities, meaning each cause will receive a donation of £1,291. The eight charities chosen – who will benefit again from the campaign in its second year – are:

Jane Gaynor, Ashtons’ Business Manager Individual Client Services, says: “After historically participating in various charities’ Wills Week campaigns we decided to do something different in launching our own Wills Year initiative. We weren’t sure how it would be received by our clients, so to raise over £10,000 has surpassed all of our expectations.

She adds: “’Ashtons’ ethos is to make a positive CSR contribution to the communities in which we live, work, and where we have chosen to raise our families so we are absolutely thrilled to be able to donate to all of these wonderful charities who support many of our clients in the local area.

If you need a Will but have been putting it off and are keen to support a local cause then give any member of our Lifetime Planning team a call on 0800 915 6037.
